Seiser Alm, Italy
Seiser Alm (Alpe di Suisi) is Europe’s largest high-altitude Alpine meadow, covering 5.5 sq. foot (52 km2). This plateau, located in the western Dolomites, is practically studded with traditional wooden cottages and surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the Sassolungo and Sciliar.
