For a sprinkle of stardust and a touch of genuine traditional Old Hollywood razzmatazz, you can’t get much better than the Cicada Club. Stepping through the front doors of this delightful authentic Art Deco supper club is like stepping back in time, to the glitz and glam of the Golden Age of Hollywood.
The Cicada is a vintage night club, in a lovingly traditional homage to a bygone age. Big bands and crooners dominate the stage, while couples swing and bop on the dance floor. Take a seat and watch the action, or get up and groove along with others.
Dining here is half the fun, and another name for this place could be the Cicada restaurant, as it hosts a wonderfully rib-sticking Italian menu garnished with classic Americana. The only worry is that you’ll eat so much that you can’t bust a move when the band takes the stage and the joint starts rocking.
The Cicada Club dress code is pretty strict, so dig out your spats and braces or your cocktail dresses, as it is the 1930s themed. With a clientele dolled up to the nines and the gorgeous Art Deco setting, you’ll truly be transported through time, and have the time of your life to boot!
