Emirates Check-in
You can check-in 48 hours before your flight's departure online. You can select your seat and choose the meal of your choice. You will still need to go to the check-in counter at the airport.
Emirates Boarding Pass
You can print your boarding pass before arriving at the airport, use the Emirates mobile app for an electronic boarding pass or go to an Emirates desk at the airport to get your pass printed.
Emirates Seat Selection
Emirates offers economy, business and first-class fares.
Economy seats have the option to choose from a regular seat, preferred seat, twin-seat and extra legroom. Seats other than regular seats may have additional charges.
First Class and Business Class passengers can choose their seats free of charge.
Emirates Baggage Policy
Emirates baggage allowance is based on the total amount of weight or pieces of luggage you have. The piece concept applies to routes to and from the Americas.
The economy class weight allowance is 20kg for special, 25kg for the saver, 30kg for flex and 35kg for flex plus tickets. Economy class is allowed 1 checked bag for special, 2 checked bags for saver, flex and flex plus tickets.
The business class’ weight allowance is 40kg. Business class is allowed 2 checked bags.
The first class weight allowance is 50kg. The first class is allowed 2 checked bags.
Traveling with Kids
Emirates is very kid-friendly and does everything to help make traveling with kids easy. Families have priority boarding on Emirates flights.
Emirates discounts adults traveling with infants under 1 year old are discounted from the full adult fare. When booking your ticket make sure to tell them if you want a bassinet in advance.
Passengers traveling with children between 6-36 months must buy a separate seat and use a car seat. Airport services will approve the car seat at check-in.
Emirates always aims to seat families together while assigning seats. Emirates also provides an infant kid with useful essentials like diaper cream, bibs and wipes.
Emirates offers special kids’ meals. You can choose the meal of their choice during booking or at check-in. You must select your options at least 24 hours before your flight. The cabin crew will also help in need of bottle warming for your baby.
Fully collapsible strollers can be checked at the gate for no additional charge and even can be brought into the main cabin as a carry-on item as long as cabin space is available.
Traveling with Pets
Dogs, cats, falcons and pet birds are allowed as checked baggage in cargo. There are no limitations to the number of pets allowed per traveler. If you decide to do so you must fill a “traveling with pets” form at least 1 week before your scheduled departure.
Pets are not allowed in the cabin of Emirates flights.
Service Animals
Service or guide dogs are welcome in the main cabin free of charge.
