Robo searched for the best vacation destinations with kids, this way you can have a memorable, fun, and stress-free family vacation!
Paris, France
The city of love and romance is a great place to rekindle your love with your spouse. You can walk hand in hand on the cobblestone streets of Paris and eat your favorite foods in a chic sidewalk restaurant. But in order to do that you need to tire your kids with a day of fun! The best way to do this in Paris is to take them to Eurodisney!
Don’t be fooled, Eurodisney is not just for kids. No matter how old you are, Disney still manages to charm people of all ages. If you want the full experience you can also stay at one of the themed Disney hotels that are located on the premises of the park. Your kids will love having breakfast with all the Disney characters!
If you enjoyed Eurodisney, next up is Parc Asterix! This park has a lot of water slides and water rides, so make sure to bring a change of clothes for everyone! This is a great option for hot summer days.
Billund, Denmark
Legos are a must for any child. It allows children to use their imagination as they build buildings and objects from scratch. If your kid loves Legos how about a trip to the place where Legos were found. Legoland is only a 10-minute drive from Billund Airport. The park has countless activities that both you and your kids will enjoy. We are sure this will be a trip memorable for both you and your kids. Barcelona, Spain
If you aren’t interested in taking your family to an amusement park and prefer a cultural city trip, Barcelona is the right destination for you. There is so much to do in this vibrant city. Barcelona is great for having a fun and cultural experience. Have a beach day at one of the beaches along the coast. Walk around the city and find the marvelous buildings of Gaudi. These out-of-the-ordinary buildings of Gaudi will be sure to catch the interest of your kids and spark their imagination.
Head to one of the most famous parks in Barcelona, Tibidabo, to let your kids run around in the grass as you have a picnic. If your kids love animals, Barcelona Aquarium could also be a place of interest.
Stockholm, Sweden
Stockholm might not be the first place that comes to mind when you are looking at family vacation destinations but give this city a chance. The climate of the city, if you go at the right time, is delightful and great to walk around. On a beautiful day head to Skansen for an open-air museum with a zoo! Take them to the Royal Palace for them to get a glimpse of Swedish history. Junibacken is a must to visit. Junibacken is a children’s attraction and it contains the largest children’s bookstore in Sweden! Go shopping for new tales for your kiddos to read at night.
Rothenburg, Germany
Rothenburg is a city that has been around since the middle ages and the architecture reflects it. One of the most fun museums of all is the Christmas Museum. Walking around Plönlein with the unique wood-framed houses, kids will feel like they are transported to a real-life fairyland. Speaking of fairy tales, the castle that inspired Sleeping Beauty is a 3-hour train ride from Rothenburg. The castle of Neuschwanstein located in the old town of Füssen was the inspiration for Sleeping Beauty. If you are in the area it’s a must-see!
Amsterdam, Holland
Although Amsterdam is known for its lively nightlife it’s actually a great spot for family trips as well. Your kids will love exploring the entire city by bike! Amsterdam, as you might know, is one of the most bike-friendly cities in the world! You can also go to Artis Zoo and see all the animals or go to the NEMO science museum. Even if your kid isn’t interested in science this museum is sure to kick start it! You can end your trip by going to the biggest park in Amsterdam, Vondelpark, and have a picnic on the grass.
