Florence, Italy

Athens, Greece

Greece is the birthplace of Hellenistic art which inspired the Renaissance. There is so much to see and things to do in Athens. Start with the world-famous Parthenon Temple and Acropolis of Athens.

Paris, France

Walk the streets and cross the bridges of Paris and discover a local artist. Discover the many parks, statues, fountains and everything the city offers. And of course, French wine is an art form of its own. So be sure to take a sip and appreciate the art of winery. 

London, England

Deciding on things to do in London can be overwhelming. The best art in London is at the British Museum. The British Museum has art from all centuries and almost all civilizations. 

London is also a great place to explore various kinds of art. London is the home of Shakespeare and it’s only suiting for guests to see a Shakespeare performance at The Globe. The Globe was built by the company that Shakespeare was in- The Lord Chamberlain’s Men. The Globe was built in 1599 but burned down in 1613. The Globe today opened in 1997 and is located a block away from where the original stood. 

Some of the best activities in London are going to the opera at the Royal Opera House or the ballet at Royal Albert Hall. If you prefer to go to musicals and concerts in London you can also head to London Palladium. 

Barcelona, Spain

Gaudi’s city, Barcelona! Barcelona always makes the list of the cities with the most beautiful architecture. Antoni Gaudi’s architecture is a must-see in Barcelona. Antoni Gaudi’s most famous buildings are La Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo, Parc Guell, Casa Calvet, Casa Vicens, Casa Mila, Cascada Fountain and the list goes on… 

Dance is also an art form and Spain is home to Flamenco. One of the best activities to do in Barcelona is to go to a Flamenco show. You can watch a performance at the Flamenco Theater Barcelona or find a local flamenco show instead. Either will be an experience to remember. 

Vienna, Austria

The best classical music in the world can be listened to in Vienna. Mozart, Schubert and Beethoven are just 3 of the names that helped Vienna become the capital of classical music. Watching an opera at the Vienna State Opera is one of the best activities in Vienna. You can choose from the 50 operas and 20 ballets they have every season. Bogota, Colombia

Bogota is one of the best cities to visit for art and has an up-and-coming art scene. The entire city is like an outdoor museum. The world-famous painter grew up. Botero is known for his style “Boterismo”, he depicts people in large exaggerated volumes. Bogota is also the birthplace of Colombian-style salsa dancing. It’s one of the best places to go salsa dancing in the world. Colombian salsa is known for its rapid movement and eccentric footwork.
